Bethany Kiuru, LMHC, MT-BC

Beth received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University. Beth believes that developing a strong therapeutic alliance and holding space for her clients is the most essential foundation to facilitating positive processes in therapy.

In Beth’s clinical experience, she has had the opportunity to partner with clients in a variety of community settings and has worked with both individuals and family systems. Through these experiences, Beth has cultivated an understanding of how an individual functions within the context of systems; whether the system be on a family, community, or societal-level scale. As such, Beth approaches clinical work through a holistic, integrative, relational, and anti-oppression paradigm, always bearing in mind the importance of identity and intersectionality within the clinical process.

In collaboration with her client, Beth discerns the most effective modality for each individual client to offer a unique path to healing and self-growth. She has garnered skills in modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Systems, and Expressive Arts Therapies.
