Brad Moran, LMHC
Brad is a licensed mental health counselor and has a masters degree from Lesley University with a specialization in holistic studies. Bringing professional experience from a variety of mental health settings including outpatient clinics, crisis centers, primary care offices, and substance abuse programs, he uses an eclectic approach to assist clients in meeting their goals and coping with various life challenges.
Clients have described Brad’s therapeutic style as non-judgmental, compassionate, insightful, and easy to talk to. When working with clients, Brad makes an effort to see each person’s story as unique and multi-layered. Rarely is psychotherapy a “one size fits all” and therefore Brad makes an effort to understand the various elements that may be contributing to a person’s struggle. This approach can assist clients in coping with and integrating the different parts of their lives in a healthy and productive manner.
Brad has experience working with a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psycho-dynamic, and positive psychology. He has assisted clients with issues like anxiety, depression, stress-reduction, anger management, and self-image issues. Brad has special interest in helping clients who are struggling with grief, family and relationship challenges, substance use, coping with chronic illness, sleep disorders, and life transitions.
