Through the use of authenticity, empathic listening, and a skills-based approach, Cailin and her clients work collaboratively to create a space for change, understanding, and healing to occur.
Cailin believes that all people have the ability and capacity to heal and grow when provided the time and space to do so. She is committed to creating an environment that feels safe and non-judgmental in order to openly explore challenges and begin the process of healing and growth.
Cailin is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and registered art therapist (ATR) with experience working with both adults and adolescents in various mental health and community settings, both domestically and abroad. She draws from a wide range of methods and individualizes care to suit each client's needs. She is trained in art therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy techniques, and trauma-informed care.
Cailin’s areas of specialty include the treatment of trauma, eating disorders and body image issues, issues with self-esteem and self-worth, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, stress management, existential issues, and personal/career transitions.
