Rahel Katz, MA

Rahel received her master's degree in mental health counseling from Boston College. She has experience working in college counseling, as well providing in-home and group therapy to adults and young children.

Rahel uses an integrative therapeutic approach, with a particular emphasis on Client Centered Theory, Relational Cultural Theory, and Feminist Theory. She strives to create a non-judgemental and collaborative relationship, while recognizing her client's intersecting identities and the contextual barriers they might face.

Rahel is interested in working with diverse populations and issues. While her primary clinical interests include trauma and identity development, she is also passionate about working with clients seeking support around depression, anxiety, domestic violence, parenting, relationship issues, and life transitions.

Due to her status as a pre-licensed clinician, Rahel is only able to accept clients with Cigna, Optum, United, Harvard Pilgrim, and AllWays insurance, or self-pay.
