John is in his final year as a Masters of Social Work student at Boston College, with a concentration in Mental Health. John's experience in the field includes residential and community-based behavioral health settings, supporting people with mood and psychotic disorders, substance use, ADHD, autism and developmental disabilities.
 
John strives to create a warm, collaborative and trauma-informed space with his clients. He aims to help them find meaning and purpose and to seek more fulfilling connections with others. With compassion, curiosity and non-judgment, John aims to center the client's unique experience, identities and goals. Whether it's processing past trauma or life transitions, addressing stress, anxiety, depression, grief or navigating the challenges of neurodivergence, John will tailor his therapeutic work to his clients' needs.

Drawing on narrative, existential and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) frameworks, John views therapy as an inherently creative process through which we can take authorship of our lives, heal and thrive as we identify and pursue what we value. His lifetime of study and work in music, writing and the visual arts has shaped his open-minded and hopeful view of the human spirit and its capacity for growth and transformation.


We are limited in what insurance plans we can accept for working with an intern. We can accept Aetna, Cigna, United & Harvard Pilgrim insurances. If you have other insurance, we offer a generous sliding scale for paying out-of-pocket.
