Kristyn Puvogel
Therapy Intern
she/her/hers
Kristyn is currently completing her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at William James College. She brings genuine curiosity and care to the therapeutic relationship, believing that meaningful change begins when clients feel truly seen, heard and understood.
Kristyn enjoys working with clients from a variety of backgrounds and with diverse concerns, recognizing that each person brings unique experiences, strengths and challenges to therapy. Her clinical interests include obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders and anxiety disorders more broadly. Before pursuing counseling, Kristyn spent six years working in corporate and consumer public relations, an experience that deepened her understanding of the ways work can shape our sense of identity, relationships and overall well-being. She is particularly interested in supporting individuals navigating career transitions and the everyday complexities of the workplace, recognizing how much of our identity and stress can be tied up in our professional lives.
Kristyn believes therapy works best as a gentle, collaborative process—one grounded in trust, compassion and a commitment to meeting each person exactly where they are.
We are limited in what insurance plans we can accept for working with an intern. We can accept Aetna, Cigna, United & Harvard Pilgrim insurances. If you have other insurance, we offer a generous sliding scale for paying out-of-pocket.
