Lace Campbell
Therapy intern
she/her/hers
Lace is a second-year Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at William James College, specializing in Couples and Family Therapy. She is especially passionate about working with couples, parents and individuals from non-traditional family systems, as well as those navigating racial, sexual, and gender identity development. Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive and attuned to the intersectional identities clients bring into the room.
Lace believes that healing begins with connection: to ourselves, our stories and the communities we belong to. She approaches therapy as a collaborative space grounded in compassion, curiosity and deep respect. Her work supports clients in exploring identity, meaning and personal growth with warmth and creativity.
Lace believes every therapeutic relationship is unique and calls for a flexible, responsive approach. She draws from existential, person-centered, narrative, and cognitive-behavioral frameworks to guide her work. She integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, mindfulness and expressive arts as tools for exploration and healing, depending on each client’s needs. Whether through movement, creative expression or guided reflection, she honors that additional approaches can be a powerful complement to traditional talk therapy, especially when clients are feeling stuck.
Lace’s perspective is also shaped by over 20 years in theatre education, youth leadership and trauma-informed arts programming, as well as her work with families navigating complex systems. She is a registered yoga teacher with training in somatic and emotional integration.
Lace welcomes clients of all backgrounds into a collaborative space for exploration, healing and growth.

Our therapy interns are working under the clinical license of their supervisors. We are limited in what insurance plans we can accept for working with an intern. We can accept Aetna, Cigna, Tufts & United/Optum insurance plans. If you have other insurance that we are unable to process we offer a generous sliding scale for paying out-of-pocket.
