Ley’s therapy style is warm, curious, and collaborative, and they believe that, at its core, therapy is hope work. Ley strives to help their clients feel understood in the therapy space and works with their clients to nurture a hopefulness that feels both realistic and restorative.
Ley received their Masters in Social Work from Simmons University with a specialization in trauma. They have worked with young adults, families, and parents in various settings, including in-home therapy, school-based therapy, and residential programs.
Ley’s areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, ADHD, complex trauma, and family systems. Their therapeutic approach centers empowerment and relationships, and draws primarily from Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). They are especially passionate about working with parents, couples, and LGBTQIA+ folks.
